Users
View and manage the people who can sign in to your Verentis account.
A user is a person who can sign in to Verentis. The Users screen lists the people in your account.
People generally appear here after they sign in or are invited.
Viewing or managing users requires permission. A permission is one specific ability in Verentis. A role is a named bundle of permissions you can assign to someone. Learn more in Roles and permissions.
User list
The list shows each user's name, email address, and status. Status tells you whether the user can currently use the account.
You can switch between list, grid, and table views. Use the view that helps you scan the information most easily.
User detail
Open a user to see more information about them.
From the user detail page, you can:
- view the user's profile
- see role memberships
- see grants
- activate or suspend the user
- assign or remove roles
- grant or revoke individual permissions
A grant means giving a role or permission to someone.
Assign a role to someone
Open Users
In the Account app, select Users in the left sidebar.
Choose a user
Open the person you want to update.
Find role memberships
Go to the area that shows the user's roles.
Assign the role
Choose the role you want to add, then save or confirm the change.
Suspend a user
Suspending a user stops that person from using the account while keeping their record.
Open Users
In the Account app, select Users in the left sidebar.

Open the person you want to suspend.
Suspend the user
Select the suspend action, then confirm if Verentis asks you to confirm.
