URLs
Workspace URLs
Open the default workspace URL and add custom domains for a workspace.
Workspace URLs are the web addresses people use to open a workspace.
Every workspace has a default URL. You can also add custom domains, such as app.example.com, when you want people to use your own web address.
Default URL
The default URL is always available. Verentis provisions it automatically when the workspace is created.
The format is:
<workspace-id>.<your Verentis domain>
Use the open button beside the default URL to visit the workspace.
Custom domains
A custom domain is your own web address that points to the workspace. For example, you might use app.example.com.
When you add a custom domain, Verentis shows a status:
- Pending means setup is still in progress.
- Active means the domain is ready to use.
- Failed means the domain could not be set up.
You can remove a custom domain when you no longer need it.
The product also shows this hint: Adding a domain will also register it as an OAuth redirect URL (coming soon). OAuth is a way for an app to use another sign-in provider. Learn more in OAuth and OIDC explained.
DomaintextThe custom domain you want to map to this workspace, such as app.example.com.
DNS changes can take time
DNS is the internet system that points a domain name to the right place. A new custom domain may stay at Pending for a while after you add it.

Open the workspace dashboard
In the Account app, open Workspaces, then choose the workspace you want to update.
Open URL settings
Open Settings, then choose the URLs area.
Add the domain
Enter the custom domain, such as app.example.com.
Confirm
Save or confirm the change.
Check the status
Watch the domain status. It may show Pending before it becomes Active.
